Time For A Photo Post

window

Jonas and Maggie love to pass the time by sitting on the back of the couch staring out the window. We live right by a fire station so every time the sirens blow Jonas runs to the window looking for the rescue heros and Spiderman to jump into action.

lov

They really are quite fond of each other. It’s a neat thing to watch.

scowl

I keep getting flak and feeling guilt about not taking many photos of Jonas n the past few months. The thing is, every shot I take has this exact same scowl on it because Jonas Jonas thinks that pictures are a waste of time. He is all dressed up in his Fireman costume for the Annual Fire Saftey Parade. He’s awfully grouchy for someone who’s pockets are loaded with parade candy, wouldn’t you say?

The next few shots are part of a series I call, “Teething, A Gummy Nightmare”

teething

What a teething baby looks like.

Finally they drug me! Sweet relief from chewing on the Tylenol bottle.

drugs

Woo-hoo! The Tylenol kicked in! I can feel joy again!

good stuff

Dang, This is some Good Stuff! More Tylenol! More! More!

So there you go, possibly the least amount of pictures I’ve taken in one month since the kids have been born.

  1. Those are great pictures Lou, keep it up.

I’m gonna start posting a few but I’ve been reluctant to so far because I told the family a long time ago I was gonna be anonymous. I’m slowly coming out of the closet, in a manner of speaking. ;-

  5. Fabbo pictures Lou. Your children are truly heaven sent!! LOVED the ruffle butted baby and fireman ones best!! Poor Jonas - he’ll realise when he is older why mommy kept wanting him to “smile”. Bless them both (and their parents of course!)

  7. Really beautiful pictures. I imagine your scrapbook pages are great. Keep taking pictures of Jonas and his scowl, you’ll be so excited when you catch him grinning.

  10. The Tylenol bottle was my son’s favorite thing when he was teething. The soft squishy top made a fun noise on his gums. He didn’t care about the contents, just the bottle.

  11. They are so cute! I wish Killian (4) and Aisling (2) got along. All I do all day long is break up fights.

I wish I was as good with the camera.

  12. Very nice photos. I SO understand about the teething thing too. Our daughter (who I refer to as the Beast) is going through teething right now too. Guess were going to need lots and lots of tylenol.
