Come Out, Come Out, Where Ever You Are! It’s National De-Lurking Week!

This means that as you click on my blog for your daily/weekly/I was googling ‘adult diapers’ and somehow found myself here. . . visit it would be totally awesome, not to mention liberating and freeing for you, the lurker (oh yeah, and gratifying for the attention grubber writing this blog) if ya’ll would exit the lurker-closet and leave me a little comment.

I must admit that as I see my stat counter tracking over 1,000 hits a week and only a very small handful of you readers throwing me a bone in the comments section. . . I find myself wondering who you are.

Are you tall? Fat? Freckled? Liberal? Pagan? Conservative? Crunchy? Weird? Or maybe so normal you’d scare the heck out of me? I’ll never know if you don’t comment!

So c’mon. . . Come Out, Come Out Where Ever You Are!

And while you’re here- show some love to my renter for the week and click on her ad! She’s pretty cool!

  4. Lurkers have always creeped me out but I too have a bunch that have been with me since I first started so I’ve come to enjoy ‘em. :-) I’ll have to try and de-lurk em!

BTW: I nominated you for Best Mommy but dammit to hell :-( .

  5. Okay, okay, I’ll de-lurk. I’m fairly new to the “blog-world”, and am not entirely sure how I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago, but I’ve checked in a few times, and love reading your entries.

OH, and about leg waxing…I tried the “at home” method once too…did ONE strip, cried bloody murder and never ever went near wax again. Shaving works just fine for me thank you.

  6. Ok, fine! I’m tall, liberal, weird and probably more normal than I’d like to admit. also LDS. Not sure how I found your blog, twopeas maybe? Oh well. Hi!!

  13. Signing in!

Sonia, middle road (politically), not very gralolaish, even thought I like to eat granola….not very skinny these days, and somewhat short.

    Comment by SONIA — January 13, 2006 @ 5:07 pm

  14. I definately didn’t find this blog by searching adult diapers! I don’t know how I came across your blog but I know it was found in the world of scrapbooking. Thanks for letting me visit!

    Comment by Katrine — January 13, 2006 @ 5:18 pm

  15. I’m not fat, weird, crunchy, or liberal. Sorry. I like your blog though. Nice template. Funny posts.

  16. I’m coming out!

    Comment by Jen the Mom — January 13, 2006 @ 5:44 pm

  17. Well, since I have posted before, I would say I am not really a lurker, but I am medium height (5′6″), a little on the round side, have a few freckles, not liberal, definitely not pagan, fairly conservative, pretty crunchy (cloth diapers, breastfeeding and so forth), and my weird level just depends on who you ask about me :) And I adore your blog so much I just raferred some of my friends to you :)

    Comment by Lawanda — January 13, 2006 @ 8:41 pm

  18. I’m not a lurker, am not crunchy (at least not all of me anyways), am a little heavier than I would like to be and have hairy legs due to it being too much of a pain in the neck and back to shave them right now. I did a waxing course and I won’t even wax my legs. I suffer from terrible ingrown hairs and the icky red bumps I get look worse than the hairs, so just gimme a razor! LOL

    Comment by DenimRose — January 13, 2006 @ 9:39 pm

  19. Thanks Lou! I think you’re pretty cool too!

    Comment by Dana — January 13, 2006 @ 10:06 pm

  20. Hi Lou,
Ok, you asked for the lurkers to come out, so here I am. I check your
blog daily! I love to read about your past and present adventures.
Whether it is about your kids, or daily life, I enjoy reading what you are
up to. You are very talented and should be a journalist!! I love your SB
style too. Keep up the great work on this blog.

  21. I am not all that sure how or when I found you but I keep coming back. Have a great week… it’s your kids- there so cute.

    Comment by Irish Breen — January 14, 2006 @ 1:35 am

  22. I’m medium height, medium brown hair, brillant blue eyes. Liberal, overeducated, and usually tired.

    Comment by Abby A — January 14, 2006 @ 2:15 am

  23. Ok, I’ll add to your comment section….this time! I’m a loyal reader who found you through twopeas. I also follow your ebay auctions as well. How’s that for stalker-ish???

Anyway, Are you tall? No. Short 5′ Fat? No, just a bit of baby weight from the two born 2 and 4 years ago! Freckled? Hmmmm, not really. Liberal? No. Pagan? No. Conservative? A bit. Crunchy? No. Weird? OH YEAH! Or maybe so normal you’d scare the heck out of me? Not even close!! lol

So there ya go! Hope this provides some happy reading on your end for a change!

    Comment by tee — January 14, 2006 @ 4:51 pm

  25. How could I not comment after reading that? :)
Come out come out wherever I am…I’m in my scrap room. I don’t want to come out. DH might want me to make breakfast.

    Comment by fuggles — January 14, 2006 @ 4:54 pm

  26. Yep, you caught me. You are in my “to read” list and I love hearing about your adventures. The latest about college - well I really understood the whole innocence thing but laughed so hard I almost choked. And I’m a hippy moma, biker chick, bipolar gothic witch… definitely not what is considered normal. But normal is highly over rated. Please keep writing forever.

    Comment by Safira — January 14, 2006 @ 6:31 pm

  27. Coming out of hiding…
I’m a double lurker here, I lurk at 2P’s and always read your posts there, and now I lurk at your blog. I love your writing style and your blunt honesty.
You may remember me from your long ago days at the CKMB.
Me? I’m a short, fat, divorced, non-custodial mom…pretty much everything I shouldn’t be at my age, but I get by…

    Comment by Kellee — January 15, 2006 @ 2:37 pm

  28. Is it possible for someone you know personally to ‘lurk’? I don’t comment so often because you write so much better than I do.
As far as what I look like- since it has been months and months- I have gained a few pounds (and I mean only a few- not two dozen) and my hair is getting to be ‘longish’ which just thrills me.

    Comment by Sanisi — January 15, 2006 @ 11:40 pm

  29. Just like the rest, you’ve caught me. I found you about a month ago from Gigglechick. I’m fasinated with your stories. I have been with a Marine for three years, so I can relate to the military stories, luckily we’re not on post, but we have a lot of friends who live in a town such as that. I do not have kids, frankly I’m terrified of the idea. But it’s nice to see that a mom can still be normal and you sound cool. I’m pretty boring myself, I live in a small town in IA, drive an hour to work, work FT, go to college PT. That’s it. That’s me.

    Comment by Chandra — January 16, 2006 @ 2:29 pm

  30. I like reading your blog but what I have to say is not as interesting as what you’ve said, hence, no blog commenting from me.

    Comment by Nicole — January 16, 2006 @ 2:47 pm

  31. 31. I’m Heidi, and I’m a lurker. I’m 27, tall, fatter than I’d like to be (baby’s now 9 months old, and I blew my whole “it takes 9 months to gain the weight, so it’s reasonable to take 9 months to get it off” theory), conservative, LDS, SAHM, definitely weird, easily amused, married to an Army guy, and spend way too much time reading blogs when I should be doing something productive with my time! I found you through Two Peas and enjoy reading about your adventures. I’m just stalkerish enough to think that if we were in the same ward, we’d be friends. :)

    Comment by Heidi — January 17, 2006 @ 8:08 pm

  32. ok so i’m like a week late to the party. what the heck else is new. =P

and i’ve posted before but i read more than i comment so i thought i would re-delurk…and i’m sure there’s not a week for that! LOL
