I Will Have Gone Completely Grey By Age Thirty
Today, while I was out, Jonas climbed onto the neighbor’s roof. Yes. The ROOF.
How did he accomplish this task? He climbed up our seven foot fence, walked along it all the way over to the neighbor’s house, and then pulled himself onto their roof. Yes. The roof.
Now, any normal kid would have a cast or stitches to show for this kind of maneuvering at age three. Yes. THREE. My son, not a scratch. I am convinced the kid has an extensive team of guardian angels so large they have probably unionized and protested the overtime.
I will be grey by age thirty. It will be Jonas’ fault.

wow! just wow! well he sounds like he’s gonna be a paratrooper or something like that when he grows up!!

I bet he wondered what all the fuss was about afterwards! What an adventurer!

My DH did something similar when he was 2. My MIL came home from being gone for the weekend to find him on the ROOF of the garage. He’d climbed up the rose trellis to retrieve a toy airplane. He was perfectly fine, but my already overprotective MIL went into crazy-mode and never left the kids alone with FIL again! Incidentally, DH grew up to be an Army Ranger.

Wow. That is SO scary. I am glad he was ok. How’d he get to the top of your fence, anyhow?
I have a feeling Tommy will be following in Jonas’ footsteps …

My ex’s mom found him on top of the china cabinet when he was 2! Scary isn’t it?? We keep joking that we’re going to give Brendan a cape, a helmet and a rubber room for his next birthday. *giggle*
I feel your pain. Redheads don’t grey gracefully either. Ugh.
