Need A Room Makeover?

The View (you know, the show with Barabra Walters) has teamed up with author Stacy DeBroff and Kimberly Clark to offer a $25,000 room makeover to 16 lucky winners. Seriously. Sixteen people. Have you signed up yet?

Living in fabulous, well maintained, roomy (note the dripping sarcasm) military housing, this doesn’t hold much sway for me, but man, give me my own house and that much cash and that is HUGE! Good Luck!

  2. Thanks for posting the link. I’m at work when the View is on so I don’t get to see it very often. We don’t have a house yet either but, I read the prize list and it looks like it is for a $25,000 check. That would make a great down payment on one!

  4. Thanks for the heads up. I totally signed up. After 6 years in the Air Force and living in the barracks, I finally have a house. I could use the cash to actually furnish said house.

  5. I wonder how they pick winner’s. Do they do it random picking or do you have to have a Pit of a house to win? Inquiring minds. Lou, I live very close to you. Novato, and I read your blog from time to time. I think my daughter would like it. She has two boys 16 months apart. Ages 3 1/2 and 2 1/3,so you know she is busy. This week both sons and husband are sick. Throw up the whole bit. I feel for her. As mine are all growen and her babies are my Grandkids. So much fun to be the grandma. She lives in Rocklin, I wish it were closer as I have a feeling you two would hit it off as friends. How old are you? She will be 31 in two weeks. Take care and thanks for the heads up on the View contest. I love that show. Gail W.
