A Contest For My Scrap-Tastic Readers
Filed in: Artsy-Fartsy Scrapbooking Stuff
Hey people! As many of you guys know, I manage the scrapbook kit club over at www.myscrapbooknook.com. This means that I choose all of the products in the kits, buy them, and then manage a design team of talented women who all show off the kit each month. I also manage the message board, where people can come talk about scrapbooking or just life in general (I admit, as much as I like to scrap, I hang out on the everything else forum). It is a really fun little work from home job, and I’m glad to have it!
It recently came to my attention that even though I have been doing this for over a year and a half, I have never done a contest for you guys involving the kit! Time to remedy that, eh?
So here is the deal. If you would like to see this big box of scrappy goodness land on your doorstep absolutely free, leave me a comment here today and tell me what you think of the May Kit, and if you happen to register to chat with me on the message board- do let me know what your user name is!
Also- be warned- I will be holding new Design Team member auditions in just about a month, so if you’re crazy about scrapping, be sure to check back and try out!
I will randomly select a winner on Friday the 9th!

Wow, the May kit is gorgeous!

The kit is absolutely beautiful! I hope I win!
Comment by Jackie — May 8, 2008 @ 5:41 pm
I found you through Today’s Creative Blog and I love your scrapbooking style! Probably because it’s just like mine!
The May kit rocks. I love the colors and those buttons are too cute. The velvet scalloped ribbon is beautiful. This would be such a pretty Mother’s Day page or would look great on a canvas hung on the wall.
I’ve actually been considering joining your club, I just haven’t done it yet. This kit might just suck me in…unless of course I win!
Thanks for all of your great ideas!
Comment by Shelley — May 8, 2008 @ 6:55 pm
I’m not the most scrapbook-y person and not that creative, but I absolutely love the May kit. Butterflies and flowers. What a perfect choice for spring. Even the colors are awesome. I have to say that I could actually do something creative with this kit.
Comment by Esther — May 8, 2008 @ 7:04 pm
I love this kit! It is girly enough that it makes me happy, but not so feminine that I feel like I can’t use it here at my house with only boys (and me) in it! You do such a good job!

Blackberry Lou, butterflies are my favorite, so of course I love the kit. But don’t bother picking me to win - I’m a scrapper but I’m not even worthy to be in your scraptastic presence and that lovely kit would be wasted on me. But I do want to tell you that I’ve been a reader of your blog for a long time now and I love to pop in to see what you’re up to. Thanks for sharing, this is one of my favorite blogs.
Comment by Carole — May 8, 2008 @ 8:19 pm
This kit it beautiful! I have a soft spot for butterflies … they remind me of my Grandma, who passed away 2 years ago. Love the antique-y feel to this kit!
Comment by jen — May 8, 2008 @ 8:42 pm

Bu please Lord, let me be the one picked, please…please…

Hi, I just wandered into your blog while browsing. I haven’t been to a scrapping blog yet and if I had the time to make the time to scrapbook I would totally want that package!! Super cute. Don’t add me into the drawing though….part of the rules should state whoever wins the material has to take a picture of the final product when they’re done using it. I’m interested to see how creative people can get…

I love the idea of the masculine colors with the flowers and the butterflies. I have a little girl and a boy and it can be hard to walk that fine line of masculine and girly at the same time when I am working on a page for both of them.
Have a great weekend!
Comment by Bev — May 10, 2008 @ 7:13 am

I´ve heard a lot (and seen a bit less) about your monthly kits and I´m very curious to try one so this one would be perfect! Exquisite though not my type of scrap, but that is what this is about: challenge yourself with things you might not have bought, isn´t it?
Comment by Meri — May 10, 2008 @ 12:46 pm
Gosh, this looks like something from that beautiful turn-of-the-last century house I grew up in. So elegant, warm, and tasteful. I’ll have to check out your kits, I didn’t know about them before - this means a whole lotta catching up. Thanks for the inspiration
