The Fertility Journal: A Mothertalk Book review

Kim Hahn, the founder of Conceive Magazine, and Geoffrey Sher, a pioneer in reproductive medicine have teamed up to create The Fertility Journal, a comprehensive guide to getting pregnant. The book is very helpful in understanding basic fertility issues and in helping a couple understand all of the physical fluxuations that are essential for conception. It is designed as a journal with a place for the reader to chat her progress and keep track of her own understanding of her body’s cycles. I liked that it was spiral bound, easy to write in, and that the spaces availible for notations were big enough to write a sufficient amount of information in. It also covers a full year, with fertility issues becoming more complex and guiding a couple into the deeper medicine of fertility treatments if that becomes neccesary.

Over all, I thought it was a useful tool, and nice to have all of that information in one concise place, along with having a place to put your personal information. For a woman trying to concieve or even just trying to better understand her own rhythms, this one is a keeper.
