Crazy 4 You: And A Give-A-Way
I made this awhile back for Quickutz- love that font and the Cosmo Cricket papers. Chris and I have so few photos of the two of us. We took this one on a serious day when we just needed to break free with some goofiness. It worked!
So. . .in honor of the re-design I’m going to have a few contests and here is the first one! I work for the Nook, creating the kits and managing their design team, and one of the biggest parts of my job is shopping for scrapbooking stuff (I know, and I’m calling it work?) It is actually more work than you would think working with manufacturers and ship dates and trying to match colors of items that you’ve only seen through a computer screen, but I digress. Anyway, shopping for craft stuff- how would you like to do some of that? Ok, here’s the deal. Go do some browsing at the Nook and tell me what YOU would buy in a reply to this post. I will randomly pick from the replies and that person will win a $20 gift certificate to the Nook!
This will close up Friday night at midnight!

I would get some of the pretty Daisy D. Cloe Marie papers! what a great prize, thanks!
Comment by Lisa L. — June 12, 2008 @ 10:45 am

Ok, So I am a little overwhelmed with wanting a little of everything over there. I must say that I would probably go with Embossing powder, only to then find out how to use it. I love to emboss the cards I make, but I fear that the embossed paper is not eye popping enough…it seems to need a punch of some kind. Thanks for the giveaway.

well there is so much i would love to have but if i had a choice then i would pick two things (if thats not too greedy) The first being prima say it in studs as a bit of bling adds to a touch of sparlle to a page and secondly the MM passport collection of stamps.

Shopping…just love it! I would go for the Teresa Collins Damask die cut pieces, throw in some of the MME bohemia paper collection for color, DEF. need MM clear stamps “ornaments” set and then to top it all off, the MM Delaney trims and the basic grey journal tags!
I like to mix it up!

Okay… I went over there and took a peek! Not sure what I’d get, you’d have to help me.
My 13 year old daughter needs inspiration and help starting. She has paper, two books and ribbon. Maybe and “how-to” book to get her started in the right direction???
In Him,

I would buy the Paper Salon Tailored Tins: Monogram Builder stamp set! I love the way these stamps look and have tons of ideas on how I’d use them. Really, they would work for both pages, cards and books! Thanks for the giveaway!

Well, I actually think you do a great job Leah! I love the Nook kits!! If I had to buy now, my current favorites are the MM Noteworthy II (love all of the Delaney stuff) and the new Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine (would be fun with a mini blackboard album and some paint- hint, hint…)
