Recycline Preserve Toothbrushes

I get asked to review a lot of products, and some I like and some I’m kind of take it or leave it, but this I will stick with.

I was aksed to review a toothbrush. Stop laughing!

This toothbrush is so cool.

I was skeptical, because usually I don’t expect to be excited about something as silly as a toothbrush, but this one is really fantastic! It is at a 45 degree angle for better brushing, the bristles are perfect- not too hard, not too soft, and the handle is made from recycled yogurt cups. I kid you not.

As if that wasn’t enough, this awesome toothbrush can be returned to the company FREE, where it will be re-processed into plastic lumber for picnic tables, boardwalks and decks. So not only do you buy recycled, but then you recycle again. And because you can’t help but think about how amazingly green you’re being as you brush your teeth, you remember to turn the water off so there’s enough left for the fish when you’re finished with your oral hygeine. Is that not cool?

Still not excited? Here’s a coupon. Try it. You’ll like it!

My New Lock

I am so excited about this lock I got a few weeks ago! It is a new Schlage electronic keypad lock, and it is protecting my DVD collection. My children are notorious for getting into themovie closet and rifling through things and pulling out discs and scratching them. It has been a huge battle to keep them away from Jonas, but we have finally succeeded!

Before trying this lock we have had childproof latches ( a joke with Jonas), we’ve turned the standard doorknob around and kept a mini screwdriver on the door moulding to pop the lock (Q-tips make excellent lock poppers too; Jonas taught me that), and nothing ever worked. Now THIS WORKS! He is desperate to learn the four digit code. I am very careful not to let him see it, and no one has given in to his pleading and well reasoned six year old arguements. Finally, my space is my space. If they made these for the refridgerator, I’d die from happiness!
