The Haircut

very, very naughty

Used some Cosmo Cricket’s Jack’s World on this one, and Fleurist blackboard.

Ok, here is what the hair looks like now, when it is all curled and cute for church. Keep in mind that this is not a daily thing. When I get a picture of how it looks straight- I’ll post that so you can see the difference.

I know, she’s a cute little cuss either way. I’ll get over it. . .before she leaves for college.

  3. Good thing she is so dang cute even with shorter hair (BTW: I would miss her longer hair, too).

  4. She is still stinking cute! but i would be upset too if my brat (also 3) did that. she’s got beautiful chocolate curls that i just love. i keep the scissors hidden.

  5. I hope it’s easier to brush now. I know how her head is sensitive.

  6. She looks so adorable in the curls! I know how tough it is to discover their freshly self-sheered locks though. I have 4 kids and didn’t have a problem with hair cutters until the 4th one. She has cut her hair FOUR times and she’s only 6.5 years old! She is also the first one to continuously write on inappropriate surfaces but that’s another story. The scissors can’t be hidden deep enough from this one. When she finds them it’s almost her mission to conduct experiments on what things they will cut through. Oh my, we’ve uncovered some messes in her short life. My hubby and I just look at each other and say, “Good thing she’s so cute or she’d be outa here!”

  7. Well, Maggie did a nice job - when my daughter was 3 she BUZZ CUT the top of her head! Luckily she had long curls on the rest of her head so I swept it over into a side ponytail for weeks until the top grew back! Of course, Emma did this right before my sisters wedding!!!! But, her nickname from that *haircut* has stuck to this day: BUZZ! My sister sends her cards with bees on it all the time! ;)

  12. I hide the scissors for that exact reason. My two older girls (one now 4, the other almost 3)are such sneaky little trouble makers sometimes! I love ‘em to death, but if anyone was going to do this same thing, it would be them. They have only cut my scrapbook pages so far, not their hair. And that was with me leaving the room for just a minute. No more. Silly kids.

I know it was a horrible discovery for you, but her new short hairdo is really cute.
