Christmas Project

Christmas Project Peek

Here is a sneaky peeky of what I’m working on throughout the month of December (you know, in lieu of unpacking my house!). I’ll be posting updates to the album every few days. . .so be sure to check back and see how it is going. Would you guys like me to post some dimensions and instructions? I could do that if you’re interested. We at Life as Lou aim to please, by golly!

The hardest part of this project is going to be taking the photos, and that is also one of the reasons I’m making myself do it. I’m hoping to chronicle our Christmas, and while we do usually do a number of Christmasy things- I never seem to be taking photos, or if I am, they don’t turn out well because it is usually in the evening when there is no light. I may need to break out the tri-pod to actually pull this off.

The album will be created using the gorgeous Cosmo Cricket “Oh Joy” line. I am really loving this paper; you can do so much with it! I love that it is a traditional rich red and green, but at the same time there are some lighter sheets thrown in, along with a few that make me feel like I’m holed up in a cozy ski lodge, sipping cocoa. Good paper takes you places, and this is a definite winner.

  1. Hi Leah - I would LOVE it if you would post the dimensions, etc. You are so talented and I would love to be able to do something similar to what you do (not that I could ever come close, but I’d try). :o )

  9. Hey Leah, I for one (as I’m sure you know) would be very grateful for the inspiration and instructions :) Now, if only my kit would arrive we’d be cookin’. (It must get held up at the boarder for a long time). I normally don’t really love Christmas themed pages (so much red and green), but so far yours are delightful. It must have a lot to do with the introduction of non-typical embellishments such as the birds in place of say, snowflakes and xmas trees. Looking forward to more.
