26 Weeks

belly at 26 weeks

There’s a baby in there.

Today, I am really tired. So I am taking it as easy as I can, and hoping that tomorrow I have more energy. I have the next class installment nearly ready to go for tomorrow, for those of you who I know are waiting for that.

The pregnancy has really turned around. I have never had the opportunity to be well and functioning while expecting, so to me, this is nothing short of miraculous. I have always been ill and bedridden and miserable. Suddenly, I am completely normal. All tests have been normal, the ultrasound was totally normal. I’m contracting a bit, which is more than I think your average pregnant person, but still even much less than any pre-term labor I’ve had before so. . .normal?

Normal is pretty cool. I could get used to this.

  1. Hear that, O wee one inside? Stay quiet and normal, because I want to come visit in January! I should know my schedule by early next week, and if it’s still okay with you, I’ll book my train tickets in a few days.
