I have been focusing on the kids and festivities the past two days- the children are wound up beyond belief and I am so glad that Christmas morning is in only a few hours!
We had a candlelight Christmas Eve dinner, just the kids and I, drank Martinelli’s from stemware, and then the kids gave me the most fantastic Christmas gift of going to bed at 6:45! For the first time ever I was able to follow doctor’s orders and put my swollen feet up for an hour!
The stockings are stuffed, the tree is lit and arrayed with presents, and the Christmas story has been read.
Time for me to go to bed!
