A Mini Album For Today
I started this book ages ago, and then when I hit the journaling put it aside intending to finish it up in about a week. Well, weeks turned to months and I finally got it all put together this morning! I used a Cosmo Cricket Blackboard book that I trimmed to be a graduated album. I also rounded my own corners. The paper is gorgeous Basic Grey Ambrosia- such a wild color palette! The ribbons are from a variety of sources, May Arts, Making Memories, to name a few. I really enjoyed adding the ribbons to this because every ribbon set I have purchased over the years seems to have one or two trims that you never quite know what to do with- and all those misfits were at home on this album!
I am doing well. I have been just plum worn out the past few days, contracting like crazy (I’m 32 weeks along), and I wonder if the tiredness I’m feeling is simply my body’s way of saying “take it easy, please”. As it stands, I’m not getting much done but cat naps and I’ve had to let go of several pre-Chris coming home projects. I have a doctor appointment on Monday, and the verdict of whether or not I go on bed rest will be laid down then. I’m loathe to lie down, even if my current state is barely moving anyway, but I have a strong feeling that history will repeat its self and down I’ll go. Ugh. What can you do?
Keepin’ it real- I have two major paper cuts from scrapbooking! Had to show off my sweet My Little Pony bandaid. Spiderman is on the other index finger. You wouldn’t think this would be such a dangerous job. . .
