I did this using the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird paper, CC blackboard, a Quickutz cookie cutter nesting label die, 3 small alphabets, Making Memories, Pink Paislee & Cosmo Cricket. The buttons are from my stash.

The journaling is about what motherhood has given me, and is written around the edges of the shapes. To get the white edges, I sanded the shapes and photo with an emery board. This was quite simple to make- I cut it all with the die, and then added the jouranling, chipboard, words and buttons.

It says:

Motherhood gave me three eternity-defining lessons. Until I became a mother I had only a very limited understanding of these concepts. I will never forget holding my first tiny, beautiful son and being so overcome by these three things that I cried. Seven years later, this, and the love of my father in heaven are the very most powerful things I’ve ever experienced. This is what I try to keep with me and what I draw on in times of doubt and depletion. These things I know: gratitude, humility and joy- they are gifts, they are saving graces and they are a source of poer, of peace, of nourishment for the soul. They are what my children have taught me.
