Copic Markers! You Could Win Some!

Now that I have your attention. . .ha! Ok- today, courtesy of My Scrapbook Nook, we are giving away six lovely copic markers. For those of you unfamiliar with these gems, hold on to your hats.

These are hands down the best markers I have ever used. In fact, and in total disclosure, I hate markers. They streak, they look muddy, they don’t blend, the tips get all wonky and gross. . .I could go on. These, however, are the exact opposite. They blend, they don’t streak, you can go over and over the paper as long as you like and not tear up your paper, the tips are super tough, and can be replaced if neccesary. These are artist’s markers, and they are so fun to use. You can create shadows, light variations, remove color if you need to, and you can get copics in over 350 shades, so you can always get the color you want. They are a stamper’s dream. They are also used by Manga and mixed media artists.

I went from hating to color to sitting down with Jonas and coloring with my copics! This card is gorgeous Lilybee paper (Audrey line), Hero Arts Matroyshka doll stamps colored with Copics.

  32. i would love to have these! and thanks for the where to buy tip. I’ve always wanted to try copics, and I’ve been in a drawing rut for, oh, a year and a half now! I think the last think I drew to completion (color and all) was feb 08. Ouch. But I don’t have my graphics tablet anymore, I got rid of it cos I had the huge pro one and it was taking up way too much space for a SAHM’s craft office. I’ll get a small one eventually, but I’ve wanted to try copics since I was a teen. If I could get excited about ‘real’ media that would be EXCELLENT.

  186. Love copic markers. I’ve been a fan/collector way before they hit the scrapping market. I used them while I was in college for architecture. :) I actually saw some for cheaper at a store going out of business and got some, but can ALWAYS use more colors.

  311. I love stamping and now I love copic and I LOVE Stamping. Have you ever tried the two together ? I Purchased the air gun to go with the markers and it works great… I stamp and then give it a whisp with the old “COPIC AIRGRIP ” and Whalla !
