This Little Turkey Is 7 Months And Gaining Speed Every Day
Babyhood, you flew by.
We watched a friend’s baby about two weeks ago and this little guy was crawling everywhere. Gabe watched him in awe, tracking his every movement, and then proceeded to do a frenetic breast stroke on his belly trying to imitate his friend. It was obvious that the concept of babies being mobile had never really occured to him, and this playdate pretty much blew his mind and altered his entire concept of what he could do.
Gabe has, over the past week, gone from laying on his back and not moving to scooting and rolling around. He has gotten into the cat food. He has nearly launched himself off my bed. He is about two seconds from crawling.
He can sit well enough for a bath in the kitchen sink. It happened so fast.
He is also sitting on his own well enough that I can sit him down and walk away. And his hair grew about an inch. And he looks. . .older. IN A WEEK, PEOPLE. I can barely stand it.
And yes, he is way proud.
What a CUTY he is turning out to be!!

He is sooo stinkin’ cute! Audrey will be six months tomorrow and it’s just flown by. I have to get our baby gates out as she’s crawling out of rooms now. Oh, and she’s gotten into the dog food. Sigh.

frenetic? did you mean to describe it as if he had inflammation of the brain? it’s related to the word phrenitis (man, I miss my neurology class).

Can he be any cuter? He’s getting SO big SO fast. I love his blue eyes and bleach blonde hair. What a cutie. He looks so much like Maggie to me, but also so much like Jonas. Time goes by way too fast. I can’t believe my baby is almost 2 years old.

He is so adorable! Pretty soon he’ll be walking and then he’ll be off! My daughter just turned one and I forgot how much then get into when they learn to walk (and climb)! LOL! My son is 6, so it’s been awhile and I almost forgot! I love watching how they intently stare at something trying to figure out how it all works! AMAZING! Have fun with these new endeavors! It can be a blast!

I just put a picture of my granddaughter into our “puppy” book. She was barely walking and holding on to the dog, giving him a kiss on the head. Later that day she brought home her 10th grade school pictures….need I say more. Quotes like, “Just Yesterday”, “Seems like only yesterday…”, they just don’t tell the story about how fast the time goes by. Enjoy every minute!!!

You and your hubby make some pretty darling turkey’s! I think he resembles Maggie a lot. I really love the picture of him in the sink, it is like he is saying, “Yeah, I am THAT cute!”

I know what you mean about them growing a little too quickly though, my sweet little one is ALmost 9 months old and she crawls like lightening and stands up with the help of anything bigger than her! I wouldn’t mind if they took it a little slower!
