A Disney Mini Album!
I finally manged to scrap my Disney photos. I have issues when it comes to events, vacations, holidays, birthdays, anything falling outside the everyday moment photographs. (You know, all of those things people make an effort to scrapbook, to keep in chronological order, to commemorate all those events, etc- I don’t bother. I scrap what I feel like scrapping. There is no order whatsoever to my albums. There you go, my dirty, little scrap secret laid bare). I like pictures that share a feeling - not so much a story. So things like this tend to get put off, and frequently don’t even happen.
And when it comes to Disney photos, I’m not much of a character paper person.
I like to find papers that match and work with the photos- the Princess and Mickey Mouse papers are cute- but they tend to overwhelm photos.
So I was really pleased to find that this Audrey line from Lily Bee (where this album is being featured today) was such a great match. The black and whites with the bold and rich primary tones really do it for the Disneyland color palette.
Good for a Princess, good for a Mouse. No cheesy characters aside from the people photographed.
I also used a BoBunny acrylic edgy album, Jenni Bowlin letter circles, American Crafts thickers, various ribbons, Zva Creative pearls. The tulle is all from Lily Bee flowers.
Thanks for looking!

This is so cute! You did a great job! What a treasure! Thanks so much for sharing it.

I’m impressed that you managed to get your pics in 1 little album! We did DW in 2008, and I’m still not done scrapping. I’ve already filled 2 12x12 albums, and I’m only about half-way through the week! But my style seems a LOT different than yours, LOL. You can check some of my blog posts to see some of my Disney LOs!

I have a friend that would just LOVE these pages!! They used to live in California and went to Disney every year. It was a tradition that they carried on when they had their son. We get together and have “Scrapping Days” and she’s currently working on all her Disney pictures. She will have to come see these! Just awesome!

Love the album! I’m the same way with scrapbooking. I just scrapbook whatever I want to and often events like this get neglected.

This is gorgeous, Leah, and I loved it when I saw it on the Lily Bee blog. I’m with you when scrapping Disney pics. I still have lots to do from our trip this Spring but I, too, like to use regular old patterned paper that matches the pics instead of the themey stuff since it’s just not my style. I’m saving some Cinderella pics to go with our Nook kit next month

Awesome mini album! You are so inspiring to me!
I’m also one who doesn’t scrap in order- only when I find something inspiring to me. A lot of my layouts aren’t in albums because I don’t know what order to put them in.
Great job!
